What method of control against vine leafhopper?

The threshold was 100 larvae per 100 leaves around flowering, and 50 larvae per 100 leaves in summer. But the revision of these limits is ongoing. It is currently envisaged thresholds of 100 larvae per 100 leaves in summer. Populations of 200 larvae per 100 leaves have already been observed, with no effect on the quality and maturity of the grapes. In addition, there appears a cumulative role of  larvae: the combination of the population over a long period seems to be more interesting than the level of population at a given time (eg 15 days of occupancy of 100 larvae per 50 leaves, could be a threshold to remember). There is no biological control in the strict sense. Work is ongoing with Anagrus atomus, parasitoid of the vine leafhopper.
